How to resolve Motion Platform not connecting to your PC

In rare occasions after firmware updates your Motion Platform may not show as connected when plugged in directly to your computer. This can be due to the firmware not installing correctly.

Below are the steps on how you can manually install firmware to your computer:

1. Open the Platform Manager Software.

2. Go to Tools & Diagnostics > Firmware Update > Recovery inside the software.

3. Once you're inside the Firmware update. Firstly, you will need to turn off the platform by the power button then choose the firmware option that matches the platform that you're trying to install the firmware on.
4. Once this has been chosen a small window then shows up beginning a count down, you can then turn the unit power back on.
5. After this has happened the small window should then mention that the firmware has been installed.
